Email: Week #2 in MTC

Hi everyone,

I haven't been able to take many pictures yet, but we are allowed to take some this Sunday. I was also wondering if you guys would send me some pictures of our family in the next e-mail, like four or five pictures of our family and some of me when I was little, because I forgot to bring any... but everyone in my district really wants to see my twin that looks nothing like me! But it would be nice to have some pictures to have during my mission of our family, that would be awesome. But I just want to let you know that I am having a blast here, it is super fun! I am in a trio of companions, Elder Richardson y Elder Jones. I've been practicing teaching and learning Spanish a lot, so I have been super, super busy during the weeks. Sometimes it is pretty tiring, but always worth it. I am the acting Senior Companion and was called to be the leader of my district, Nefi. As a joke, everyone in my district calls me the bishop.

I was the only one to fly from Phoenix to Atlanta. It was funny because I was talking to the people next to me and they were so shocked when I said my mission would be for two years and then they asked if I could get married as a missionary... haha kind of strange. But that's why I am out here, because a lot of people don't know about the gospel and I want to share it. On my connecting flight, there was about 15 missionaries, not 50. But thankfully I was able to get on my flight and all went well. I arrived at the MTC at about 6:30 in the morning.

Today, I was able to go to the temple in Buenos Aires and it was so beautiful. I felt so happy inside and I really love it. It's just crazy how fast I and some other people are doing in progessing in teaching the gospel in Spanish. I love to see it everday how the Lord works. I am so happy to be out here (I will probably say that a lot...) no matter how tired I may get sometimes. I am also keeping a journal, so when I get back in about 2 years you can read about everyday of my journey here.

Also, writing e-mails would be easier, but you can write letters if you want. I have a designated time (1 hour) every week on Thursday to write letters to other people. Also, it is really hot out here. I start sweating after walking around for like 10 minutes really bad, but in the morning and at night the weather is really nice. A lot of the people in my district are from Utah. But I found out that the next MTC President is Brother and Sister Willis from Mesa, Arizona which is really neat!

I miss and love you all! And I just really love my time out here in the field. Write you guys later!
